Micki Schroeder Elected Chairperson, E3 Africa (e3africa.org)

Micki Schroeder SHRM-CP, PHR, of Phoenix, AZ has been elected as Chairperson to the E3 Africa Board of Directors to replace the departure of the former Chairperson, BethAnn Bader. BethAnn, after much prayer and discernment, had decided to retire from her position and worked closely with the BOD during a period of transition. BethAnn remains on E3 Africa’s Board of Directors.

Micki Schroeder commented on the election results: "This is quite an honor and a blessing. Working with the mission of E3 Africa fully utilizes professional knowledge and personal experiences. I pray that everything our BOD does for our students and staff in Uganda is a success!"

E3 Africa is a non-profit organization committed to educating, enriching, and empowering the orphaned and impoverished children of Uganda. The goal of E3 Africa is to provide educational opportunities for underprivileged children through financial sponsorship. E3 Africa has directly impacted over 800 young people in Uganda with an everlasting and immeasurable ripple effect with even more children on the sponsorship waiting list. In a country that has a history of poverty and rural devastation, Ugandan children are now finding their lives and communities transformed through education provided by loving sponsors of E3 Africa.

E3 Africa is a non-profit organization recognized as tax exempt by the IRS under Section 501(c)(3) in good standing since 2007.

NEWS BRIEF: E3 Africa Names Kristin Smith Executive Director

E3 Africa has named Kristin Smith Executive Director for the organization. Kristin has long been a supporter of E3 Africa’s mission to educate, enrich and empower the vulnerable and marginalized children of Uganda and is thrilled to serve E3 Africa in her new role. She joins the team with a successful track record in leadership, philanthropy and mission development.
