Student Desk Drive
The Ugandan Government now requires that students are seated in individual desks to complete all government-mandated testing. Currently our boarding school for the orphaned and impoverished children in the region only have access to tabled classroom seating.
Teachers' Quarters
Houses 6 teachers so that they may provide 24/7 teacher presence, consistency & additional security for children on campus. Attracts high quality teachers as commuting is a challenge.
Block of Classrooms
We are expanding, our students need addition space. Help is needed with funding the construction and money for desks, classroom furnishings, educational supplies for 100 students.
Build a School
Once completed, St. Thomas Aquinas College – Erepi (STACE) will have the capacity to educate over 800 students a year, most of whom are orphaned or from disadvantaged families, and employ approximately over 50 teachers, administrators, and site staff.
STACE opened in February 2020 with two dorms, three classroom blocks, a chapel, and a multipurpose center. Since first opening, we have added dormitory expansions, a science and lab building, SOURCE ® hydrosolar panels for purified water. We have a fully functioning farm to grow crops for the campus meals and to utilize for crop husbandry training.
The school supplements a traditional curriculum with vocational training, peace & conflict resolution, and moral and spiritual transformation. Because of intermittent power outages, additional solar, generator, and storage capacity are needed to help light the school campus in our remote location.
